Archiving Policy
POSTech Journal: Politic, Society and Technology Journal is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content. The journal employs multiple digital archiving strategies to safeguard the scholarly record for future generations.
Digital Archiving Systems
To ensure the durability and availability of all published articles, the journal content is archived and preserved in the following ways:
-
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe):
This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. It allows those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for preservation and restoration. -
CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS):
The journal is also preserved in the CLOCKSS archive, a dark archive that ensures content remains available in the event the journal is no longer published. -
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN):
As part of the Public Knowledge Project, POSTech Journal uses the PKP Preservation Network for long-term digital preservation. -
National Repository and Indexing Services:
All published articles are deposited and indexed in relevant national and institutional repositories, such as Garuda (Garba Rujukan Digital – Indonesia) and other indexing platforms to ensure wider accessibility.
Self-Archiving (Green Open Access)
Authors are permitted and encouraged to deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, personal websites, and other scholarly platforms, provided that the original source is properly cited and linked.
Full Open Access Compliance
All archiving policies comply with open access best practices and support the open dissemination of academic research without restrictions.
